'''Gamoray'''  is a planet originally the center of power for the [[Delphian Empire]], situated within a region of space the [[Cylons (TOS)|Cylons]] refer to as the [[Krillian Star System]]. According to the [[The Twelve Colonies of Man|Colonials]], Gamoray at one time time was inhabited by some 70 million beings.

Conquered by the Cylons sometime before the [[Battle of Cimtar|destruction of the Twelve Colonies]], Gamoray became a Cylon regional capital city (complete with civilians), a base, and [[tylium (TOS)|fuel]] dump located on the planet to project its imperial power throughout the star system {{OS|The Living Legend, Part I}}.

Gamoray is also the location of a space battle between Cylon forces and the Colonial [[battlestar (TOS)|battlestars]] ''{{TOS|Galactica}}'' and ''{{TOS|Pegasus}}''. The attack by the Colonial forces is planned and executed by ''Pegasus'' Commander [[Cain (TOS)|Cain]] after he joins the [[the Fleet (TOS)|rag-tag fleet]], having survived the [[Battle of Molecay]], where Cain's battlestar had been presumed destroyed. 

During the [[Battle of Gamoray]], two [[Basestar (TOS)|basestars]] are destroyed&mdash;but ''Pegasus'' herself is presumed lost {{OS|The Living Legend, Part II}}.

Gamoray is the location of a significant [[Battle of Gamoray (TOS-RH)|siege]] that occurred approximately nineteen [[yahren]] before {{TOS-RH|the Fleet}}{{'|s}} encounter with [[Poseidon (TOS-RH)|Poseidon]].<ref name="WAR103">{{cite book/RH|2|103}}</ref> 

Following the battle at Gamoray, ''[[Pegasus (TOS-RH)|Pegasus]]'' remained within what is described as "the Cylon perimeter" for at least one yahren, suggesting Gamoray was located in or near Cylon-controlled space.<ref name="WAR103" /> This positioning forced Commander [[Cain (TOS-RH)|Cain]] to adopt guerrilla warfare tactics, striking Cylon targets and then fleeing to fight another day.<ref name="WAR103" /> During this period, ''Pegasus'' destroyed a Cylon supply base in the region before receiving distress signals from refugee ships.<ref name="WAR103" />
