In the [[Battlestar Galactica (TOS)|original series]], the '''fumarello''' is a fairly large cigar, similar to a [[Wikipedia:Cigar|''parejo'']].  Typically seen near or in [[Starbuck (TOS)|Starbuck]]'s mouth, much to the dismay of the Cylons and their chest armor.

In the [[Battlestar Galactica (RDM)|re-imagined series]], cigars are not referred to with a special name, but it is noted that they are made of a plant product called [[fumarella leaf]] ([[Water]]). Brand names for these are [[Foliole]] and [[Caprican Imperial]].
