After finding that they had been swindled, the Nomen swore a [[blood hunt]] on "the jackal, Captain Dmitri" and pursued "Dmitri" to the ''[[Rising Star (TOS)|Rising Star]]'' ([[The Man with Nine Lives]]). 

It is unknown whether or not a Dmitri actually existed, though it would be logical to assume that Dmitri was a real person and that Chameleon used the captain's name in order to have an identity to conduct clandestine business dealings.
