Ditko participated in the [[Rescue on Caprica]] to recover the survivors of the [[Caprica Resistance]], including [[Samuel Anders]] {{TRS|Lay Down Your Burdens, Part I|Lay Down Your Burdens, Part II}}.

Following the [[Second Exodus]] circa {{ACH|2}}, he is part of the [[Colonial Marine Corps|Marine]] ground team to guard operations on the [[algae planet]] and defends the human position there against a {{RDM|Cylon}} attack {{TRS|The Eye of Jupiter}}. He later appears ringside during the boxing bout between [[Galen Tyrol]] and [[William Adama]] {{TRS|Unfinished Business}}.

Circa {{ACH|4}}, he serves as [[Laura Roslin]]'s escort aboard ''Galactica'' during her [[Doloxan]] treatments {{TRS|Faith}} and part of her security force during her appearance before the [[Quorum of Twelve (TRS)|Quorum of Twelve]] {{TRS|Guess What's Coming to Dinner?}}.

Ditko volunteers for the [[Battle of the Colony]], and his fate remains unknown after that encounter {{TRS|Daybreak, Part I|Daybreak, Part II}}.
