'''Diana''' is the aide to [[Aeries]] [[Quorum of Twelve (TOS)|Quorum of Twelve]] Council Member [[Osiris (TOS)|Osiris]], as well as his daughter.

Around the early 7330s<ref>Starbuck was a cadet in [[7331]], and Diana told Starbuck that she was a year behind him (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Starbuck 2]]'').</ref>, Diana trained as a [[Warrior]] with a focus on weapons, flying, and in computer sciences (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Starbuck 2]]'', ''[[Battlestar Galactica: Starbuck 3|3]]'', ''[[Battlestar Galactica: Starbuck 4|4]]''). 

Complicit with her father's plans with the [[Cylon (TOS alternate)|Cylon]], she arranges to cover up Osiris' treachery relating to the destruction of [[Umbra]] in [[7322]]. Initially, they keep tabs on [[McKintosh]], a former employee of Osiris's who claimed to have information on the attack. While she knew about the data chip and the corresponding pendant, they did not move against McKintosh. 

It isn't until [[7346]] that the truth of Umbra became a threat, as [[Boomer (TOS alternate)|Boomer]] utilizes the [[Aeries]] [[datanet]] to decode the chip {{alt|Starbuck|TOS}} won from McKintosh in [[7335]]. Ordered by Osiris to deal with it&mdash;and much to her father's chagrin later on&mdash;she commits an act of terrorism by blowing up the [[server room]] aboard ''[[Galactica (TOS alternate)|Galactica]]'' and attempts to kill two warriors (Ensign Starbuck and Lieutenant [[Apollo (TOS alternate)|Apollo]]) when they return to investigate the bombing. These failures segues into another attempt on wiping out both Warriors via a Cylon ambush, with information Diana provides the Cylons relating to their forthcoming patrol route. 

That ambush a failure, Osiris instructs Diana to bring Starbuck to him at the [[Aerian Administration Hub]] for a chat. With the chat ending poorly, Diana was able to utilize the DNA left on Starbuck's glass and the half-smoked [[fumarello|fumerello]] to stage her next plan: framing Starbuck for the murder of [[Kandi Trieste]] (''Battlestar Galactica: Starbuck 2'').

After planting both Trieste's body and the evidence aboard ''[[Erin Dream]]'', she succeeds in having Starbuck arrested and brought to the Hub. However, after Starbuck's escape (aided by Lord [[Baltar (TOS alternate)|Baltar]] and Apollo), she is tasked with following [[Athena (TOS alternate)|Athena]] after {{alt|Adama|TOS}}'s removal from the [[Council of the Twelve]]. 

She succeeds in stopping Athena from uncovering the last remaining footage that would prove Starbuck's innocence, and (with the help of a [[Centurion (TOS alternate)|Centurion]]) extricate her to [[Thrace (TOS)|Thrace]] in order to prevent the evidence acquired by Apollo and Starbuck from [[McKintosh]]'s ship from making the light of day (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Starbuck 3]]''). 

Despite Osiris's promise to release Athena following the destruction of the Umbra evidence, Diana plans to kill Athena and destroy the [[tylium (TOS)|tylium]] mining outpost on Thrace by means of overloading the reactor. While the Cylons at the facility follow their task of removing the last of the tylium before the facility's destruction, Athena frees herself and engages in hand-to-hand combat with Diana, who vastly under-estimated her opponent. 

Athena stops short of killing Diana by Apollo's intervention, they leave her behind. She vainly attempts to stop the overload, and her attempt to have [[Lucifer (alternate)|Lucifer]] and the Cylons save her also fails. 

Before Diana dies, she sends a final message to her father, telling him that she loves him (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Starbuck 4]]'').
