Agent [[Christa Nolan]], an officer from [[Colonial Intelligence]], claims to want to dangle Purat like a carrot by escorting him through Colonial space, so that his compatriots can attempt to rescue him in transit, should he be involved with the recent terrorist activity. On this moon, Purat meets his mysterious benefactor, with whom they begin discussing their common goals {{comics|zero|4}}. This benefactor, former [[Colonial Fleet (TRS)|Colonial Fleet]] Admiral [[Julian DiMarco]] turned rebel, establishes a deal with Purat and Nolan for weapons supplies. However, things turn sour when Nolan kills DiMarco's wife, [[Sil]], who conspires with {{callsign|Karl Agathon}} against her husband whom she believes insane.
