Such repair sheds were deployed in the aftermath of the orbital bombardments against the [[Twelve Colonies of Kobol]], following the cataclysm known as the [[Fall of the Twelve Colonies]]. 

A group of [[Caprica Buccaneers|Caprica Buccanneers]] observe Centurions bringing their damaged compatriots and their components back to one such shed, inspiring [[Samuel T. Anders]] to take a page from ''[[The Tauron Line]]'' and hide an improvised explosive device within a Centurion leg, in the hopes such a device would destroy one such container. Despite the operation going sideways, leading to the loss of [[Kai]] and [[Coach]], this became the inaugural act of guerrilla warfare against the Cylons by the nascent [[Caprica Resistance]] {{TRS|The Plan}}.
