In addition to acting, he was a triathlon athlete, participating in swimming, biking, and running, and was a cross-country runner. Later, he would work again with his father on ''Battlestar Galactica'' as Brendan Costanza, also working with him on the HBO television movie, ''Walkout'', which chronicles the [[w:1968|1968]] [[w:East L.A. walkouts|East L.A. walkouts]], and directed by Edward Olmos.
