:In order to qualify for the [[Special:Lonelypages]] (orphan page) you have to no links directed to you. Some common examples of legit orphans include some of the disambig pages (like Apollo and Athena). They can have links coming off of them and still be orphans (like the disambig pages). Orphan pages would be difficult to locate as you could only find them by browsing by category, or by typing their exact name. == <del>Barnstars</del> The Star of Kobol ==

I thought of this a while ago and it never really took hold, though I don't remember why. I mentioned it to Peter and he pointed me at Wikipedia's Barnstars. Anyway, I thought it would be neat to have some kind of official-ish kudos system. To recognize long-established, quality contributers. I would like to call it the Star of Kobol since that was kind of the Medal of Honor of TOS. Peter and I then came up with a slew of rather silly award names. For instance, a series of "awards" for those who are prone to biting newbies: The Number Six "So Beautiful... So Fragile" Award (bronze), the William Adama "Nothing Else For it, Then" Award (silver), and the Laura Roslin "If I Want to Throw a Baby Out an Airlock, I'll Say So" Award (gold). Maybe that last is not such a good idea. *wink* Anyway, what do people think of my initial idea and should we just have one kind of catch-all award, or should we specialize the way Wikipedia has with their barnstars? --[[User:Day|Day]] <sup>([[User talk:Day|talk]])</sup> 02:06, 5 April 2006 (CDT)

I.e., on Star Trek wikis, I'd be honored to received a Christopher Pike Medal of Valor (note; in Star Trek you can actually get more than one of these). Alternitively, we could give citations along with the Star... Like one might get the following (with pic added) on their user page: "Awarded the Star of Kobol on the sixth of April, two thousand six for meritous service in the area of petty and tedious editing tasks." That would be, say, Mini-Series > Miniseries. Damn, these are funny. I like the Golden Mop for us admins...keeps us on our toes in terms of maintenance we should be doing as a matter of course. I'm the only administrator who's actually watched the Original ''Battlestar'' in its first-run airing (and remember it). No repeats. Like, live and stuff. Like, when cable TV was still a dream for half the country. And I had just saw "Star Wars" in the theaters a few months before that. Hell, I even remember seeing a first-run episode of the original "Star Trek."
