** Merging with Fandom would be (to my opinion) the worst idea. Fandom would become the owner of the wiki's content and nothing could not be undone after that. You cannot leave Fandom for another provider (even if you wanted to) and they won't want to close the wiki. That's like a dictatorship and you may be even fired from your "own" wiki for any reason. I disagree with this very idea, even if we had to wait several years until the wiki's return. -- LIMAFOX76 (talk) 05:25, 22 August 2019 (PDT) | ** Merging with Fandom would be (to my opinion) the worst idea. ** Hello Oldag! Thank you for bringing this proposal up. I've considered Fandom (The Artist Previously Known as Wikia) previously, even when the "Wiki" was down, and find that despite some cosmetic changes they haven't changed much since my initial decision to reject their buy-out offer nearly a decade ago. As for any issues with losing information, Shane L. at Battlestar Wiki Clone has done a wonderful job in "forking" a clone of the Wiki for fandom (lowercase "f") despite Fandom.com and the temporary service interruption of this website. Therefore, I don't see this really being much of an issue, and what transpired during the "Father-Creator's" absence is more than I could have even hoped for. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 09:26, 22 August 2019 (PDT) | ** Hello Oldag!
