==== Goals and Control ====
The goal of such a blog will be to post news and updates regarding the Wiki via another form. For instance, if a new episode guide or Think Tank proposal is added, we will note this there. The blog will also be used to update people on technical changes to the wiki, such as updates to the MediaWiki software, server moves, etc.
The question of "who will post" on the blog has been rasied. Therefore, a [[BW:RFA|RFA]]-type setup will be put into place; people can either be suggested or self-nominated for posting.
To "control the beast", we will create something called the [[Battlestar Wiki:Blog Ministry|"Blog Ministry"]], which will allow on-wiki control of the blog and be the place to establish guidelines for blog-posting, requests for blog control (RFBC's, could be the new acronym, I guess) and other blog-related issues.
It should be reiterated that this is to gather feedback. It can also be used to gather feedback from new or present policies, but it is not a mechanism to create policy. All policy should be made on-wiki via Think Tank.
