== Music and Dance ==
The Colonials appear to have an appreciation for singing. The [[Tucana singers]] on [[Carillon]] perform for the Colonial patrons, and {{TOS|Starbuck}} judges their talent to be exceptional (and potentially very lucrative). A sparsely clad dancer performs on Carillon, earning the appreciation and even the occasional [[cubit]] thrown her way {{OS|Saga of a Star World}}.

During their exodus, the Colonies enjoy musical concerts on a limited scale. [[Cassiopeia]] acquires two [[Ducat|ducats]] for a {{Inlineref|Spheroid concert|bold=N}} {{OS|Take the Celestra}}

Revelers aboard ''{{TOS|Rising Star|Rising Star}}'' participate in a dance involving strands of rope. The dance appears to be able to be performed individually {{OS|War of the Gods, Part II}}, in pairs ([[TOS]]: "[[War of the Gods, Part II]]," "[[The Man with Nine Lives]]"), and as a group {{OS|War of the Gods, Part I}}.

Acrobats in leotards and painted faces enact a performance using clear rods held between dancers, ensnaring a dancer at its center in a triangular lattice. The center-dancer moves to avoid the rods as they move about their person. This dance is performed when [[Apollo (TOS)|Apollo]], [[Boomer (TOS)|Boomer]], [[Jolly (TOS)|Jolly]] and [[Starbuck (TOS)|Starbuck]] first arrive in ''[[Rising Star (TOS)|Rising Star]]''<nowiki/>'s [[Astral Lounge]] {{OS|The Man with Nine Lives}}.<gallery>

== Sports and Games ==
Games of chance are popular. The most common amongst the pilots is {{TOS|Pyramid|Pyramid}}, a card game. At the [[chancery]] on Carillon there appear to be a variety of games, with the odds stacked heavily in favor of the patrons in order to get them to stay for [[Ovion|dinner]].

For those who do not wish to partake in games of chance, there are also other recreational games, such as those in ''{{TOS|Galactica}}''{{'|s}} [[rejuvenation center]] {{OS|Fire in Space}} and the [[w:three-dimensional chess|three-dimensional chess]] set in {{TOS|Adama}}'s ready room {{OS|Saga of a Star World}}. Compartment bulyarks is one of the games in the rejuvenation center. The game resembles [[w:Table Shuffleboard|indoor shuffleboard]]. {{TOS|Boxey}} excels at the game, defeating {{TOS|Athena}} at it repeatedly {{OS|Fire in Space}}. 

{{TOS|Triad|Triad}} is a popular spectator sport. The game is usually watched not only by a live audience, but [[Inter-Fleet Broadcasting]] also broadcasts the games to the rest of {{TOS|The Fleet|the Fleet}}.

7-11 is an unidentified game mentioned by {{TOS|Boomer}}. After Lieutenant {{TOS|Boomer}} chastises Cadet [[Cree]] for being too close in the formation after launching from ''{{TOS|Galactica}}'', Cree replies that his instructor ordered him to always keep tight– to which Boomer replies that Cree's instructor is "back at the base playing 7-11" {{OS|The Gun on Ice Planet Zero, Part I}}.
