7 News | Channel 7 News was another Caprican news agency and a competitor of Caprica 5. Like its competition, this news agency covered the Cylon attack until its field reporters were killed in the bomb blasts.
This station's logo was a plain white number 7 located inside a circle of the same color. The word NEWS was printed under the icon. Unlike Caprica 5, 7 News' icon appeared in the top right-hand corner of viewing screens. | This station's logo was a plain white number 7 located inside a circle of the same color. 7 News | Channel 7 News was seen only once during the Miniseries as it covered the Cylon attack. Gaius Baltar was watching this station and Caprica 5 simultaneously on a dual wall-mounted viewingscreen. The field reporter for Channel 7 News was in a city at the time reporting on the apocalyptic event when suddenly, a bomb exploded nearby. The shockwave knocked the reporter and a background outdoor café off the screen. The camera was destroyed soon after, evidenced by the screen reverting to static. After this broadcast signal was severed, Channel 7 News was never heard from or mentioned again in the series.
