Stinger as CAG of Pegasus?[edit]

I understand that this point is likely, but surely it is still just conjecture at this point? --Madbrood 17:47, 11 September 2006 (CDT)

Pegasus CAG[edit]

Do we know who Pegasus' CAG is currently? I updated the Galactica info, but I dunno about Pegasus. --BklynBruzer 10:14, 10 October 2006 (CDT)

I don't think we know for sure. Might look at the members of the command council. Has there been much history of even really having two CAGs since Cain was killed? It seems like the pilots have mostly operated under single leadership, and there might not be distinct enough air groups to have two different CAGs. (Though I'd love for somebody to break down the tape on it, one way or the other.) --Steelviper 10:29, 10 October 2006 (CDT)
I agree, but what little has been shown strongly suggests that Kat is the senior CAG for both battlestars since she resides on the admiral's battlestar, and, as Stinger did, the CAG of the admiral is senior to other CAGs. Not a certainty, though. --Spencerian 11:23, 10 October 2006 (CDT)
No, Pegasus still has a CAG, or at least had a CAG at the time of The Captain's Hand, shown by Garner's line: "Tell the CAG to launch the recovery team; let's bring our people home." Given the fact that Stinger was in hack and Starbuck was there as a "training officer", I reckon Showboat is our best bet (She's equal in rank to Starbuck AND Stinger, assuming Stinger is still a Captain at this point- I tend to think he's been demoted, even though that hasn't been stated on screen. --Madbrood 12:08, 10 October 2006 (CDT)
Also, Starbuck made a big deal of being assigned to the Galactica CAG position rather than Pegasus. This person's absence during the leadership meeting is conspicuous, but note that Lee Adama wasn't consulted regarding the disposition of Hera, although Saul Tigh (who was outranked by Lee at the time) was included. --April Arcus 13:04, 10 October 2006 (CDT)
