Battlestar Galactica's Unnamed Characters

This page lists all Colonial Warriors who were never named either on screen or by any of the show's creatives.

The scope of this article is limited to characters who have either an on-screen credit or had an important interaction with a major character. For instance, the woman on the Gemini telling Iblis of how having two tallon plants would be a miracle enough would be notable, while the man falling off the roof during the Cylon attack on Caprica wouldn't.

Galactica

Gemon Warrior

A Gemon Warrior besting Starbuck at Pyramid (TOS: "Saga of a Star World").

An unnamed man from Gemoni, playing Pyramid with Starbuck, is stationed aboard the battlestar Galactica during the peace talks that lead to the Battle of Cimtar. He bests Starbuck at the game just prior to Commander Adama's order for battlestations drill, which disrupts the game. Starbuck shoves coined cubits down his pant as the Warrior leaves in response to the klaxon.

After later learning about the Otori Sect from Cassiopeia, Starbuck equates their abstinence from sexual encounters lending to their prowess at Pyramid (TOS: "Saga of a Star World").

The Gemon Warrior[1] was portrayed by Rene Assa, who was uncredited.

First Warrior

An ill-fated Warrior finds his way to Carillon's hidden buffet level... (TOS: "Saga of a Star World").

An unnamed man served as a Colonial Warrior on the battlestar Galactica at the time of the Fall of the Twelve Colonies of Man. When the Fleet reached Carillon, he was on the surface in the chancery at the same time as an unnamed woman and her friend Nanswah were visiting. Stepping into an elevator to head to their accommodations, it seemingly malfunctioned and sent them to the lowest level where he and the others were captured by the Ovions where they could be fed to their young (TOS: "Saga of a Star World").

The First Warrior was portrayed by Chip Johnson. Johnson would later reappear as 3rd Pilot in "War of the Gods, Part I." It is uncertain if these pilots are meant to be the same.

Second Warrior

An unintroduced Second Warrior attempts to flirt with a dejected Cassiopeia in an elevator (TOS: "Saga of a Star World").

An unintroduced man served as a Colonial Warrior on the battlestar Galactica at the time of the Fall of the Twelve Colonies of Man. When the Fleet reached Carillon, he was on the surface in the chancery at the same time as Cassiopeia. Both would step into an elevator to head to their accommodations, where he flirted with the socialator who was feeling dejected after an argument with Starbuck. It seemingly malfunctioned and sent them to the lowest level where he and Cassiopeia were captured by the Ovions, where they could be fed to their young. Apollo and Starbuck would later rescue Cassiopeia, but was too late to save the Warrior (TOS: "Saga of a Star World").

The Second Warrior was portrayed by Geoffrey Binney.

038 Pilot

038 Pilot fighting off phalanxes of Cylon Raiders during the Battle of Cimtar (TOS: "Saga of a Star World").

An unnamed man served as a Colonial Warrior on the battlestar Galactica at the time of the Fall of the Twelve Colonies of Man. During the battle near Cimtar, he flew wing with Starbuck. He would survive and return to Galactica, where he served as a patrol for the Carillon mission upon reaching the planet to resupply under the callsign Vector 63038 (TOS: "Saga of a Star World").

Sometime after the Battle of Gamoray, he flew with Bojay's Silver Spar Squadron alongside Jolly when they encountered the Ship of Lights and were subsequently taken by the beings. He would later be returned to Galactica after Count Iblis was banished (TOS: "War of the Gods, Part I").

038 Pilot (as "1st Pilot") overcome by the loud sound prior to abduction by the Beings of Light (TOS: "War of the Gods, Part I").
Paul Coufos portrayed this pilot "Saga of a Star World" and "War of the Gods, Part I" (credited as 1st Pilot), in addition to other characters in the Original Series.

Sleeping Warrior at Flash Inspection

After being roused from his slumber by Colonel Tigh on the state of their uniforms, an unnamed Warrior readjusts his uniform in his bunk (TOS: "Saga of a Star World")

An unnamed Warrior is asleep in the bachelor officer's quarters when Colonel Tigh performs his "flash inspection." After Tigh makes a scene before Boomer and Starbuck about the uniforms being in poor condition, the groggy Warrior adjusts his uniform in his bunk before returning to his slumber (TOS: "Saga of a Star World").

John Zenda is uncredited for this role.

3rd Pilot

An unnamed Warrior under Bojay's command of Silver Spar Squadron is part of a patrol that first encounters the Beings of Light, and is subsequently abducted by them in vicinity of an unnamed red planet (TOS: "War of the Gods, Part I").

The 3rd Pilot was portrayed by Chip Johnson. Johnson earlier appeared as a Warrior in the Elevator in "Saga of a Star World." It is uncertain if these pilots are meant to be the same.

Pilot Trainees

1st Girl Warrior

Leann Hunley as 1st Girl Warrior in a pressure suit (TOS: "Lost Planet of the Gods, Part I").

This Warrior is first introduced during Captain Apollo's pressure suit lecture, standing between Lieutenant Starbuck and the "2nd Girl Warrior." Following her participation in the Battle of Otarsis Quadrant, she sits in the Officer's Club with the other newly minted Viper pilots sharing victual and stories of their recent forays into combat (TOS: "Lost Planet of the Gods, Part I").

She is one of Serina's bridesmaids at the marriage ceremony, and is at the Warrior camp on Kobol when Starbuck is released by Baltar and Lucifer, later participating in the Battle of Kobol (TOS: "Lost Planet of the Gods, Part II").

During Count Iblis' visit to the Fleet, she is a spectator to a Triad game where Apollo and Starbuck face off against Boomer's blue team (TOS: "War of the Gods, Part I", "War of the Gods, Part II").

She and a male Warrior are having a moment in a corridor when Maga and Bora, disguised as deckhands, ask for Starbuck's location. She notes that she saw him heading towards the flight deck (TOS: "The Man with Nine Lives").

Leann Hunley is credited as "1st Girl Warrior" only in "Lost Planet of the Gods, Part I" despite her continued appearance into Part II, but is given a second formal credit of "Warrior" in War of the Gods, Part I" and "The Man with Nine Lives." Her appearance in "War of the Gods, Part II" is uncredited.

2nd Girl Warrior

Jennifer Joseph, first credited as 2nd Girl Warrior in "Lost Planet of the Gods," co-pilots a shuttle from Rising Star (TOS: "The Man with Nine Lives").

This Warrior bookends the trio that consists of Lieutenant Starbuck and the "1st Girl Warrior" during Captain Apollo's pressure suit lecture (TOS: "Lost Planet of the Gods, Part I"). She is one of Serina's bridesmaids at the marriage ceremony, and is at the Warrior camp on Kobol when Starbuck returns, following his release by Baltar and Lucifer, later participating in the Battle of Kobol (TOS: "Lost Planet of the Gods, Part II").

Later, she is Lieutenant Sheba's co-pilot on a shuttle returning from Rising Star with Starbuck and Chameleon (TOS: "The Man with Nine Lives").

Jennifer Joseph is credited as "2nd Girl Warrior" for the "Lost Planet of the Gods" two-parter. Her appearance in "The Man with Nine Lives" is uncredited.

3rd Girl Warrior

There are two performers credited as "3rd Girl Warrior" in the "Lost Planet of the Gods" two-parter. It is believed that the role may have been recast during production of the two-parter, given two pieces of information: the credit for 2nd Girl Warrior is the same between two parts, and the conspicuous absence of a 1st Girl Warrior credit in Part II.

3rd Girl Warrior #1 in Pressure Suit Scene

Gay Thomas as 3rd Girl Warrior during the pressure suit scene (TOS: "Lost Planet of the Gods, Part I").

This Warrior trainee is present during Captain Apollo's pressure suit lecture, and has her knee up on a bench that Sorrell sits at. Her close-up occurs after Serina declares her love for him, much to Apollo's chagrin (TOS: "Lost Planet of the Gods, Part I").

Gay Thomas-Wilson is credited as "3rd Girl Warrior," and she only appears in this one scene.

3rd Girl Warrior #2 in Combat

Millicent Crisp as 3rd Girl Warrior during the Battle of Otarsis Quadrant (TOS: "Lost Planet of the Gods, Part II").

This Warrior trainee is present during Otarsis quadrant, and takes out at least one Raider during the engagement (TOS: "Lost Planet of the Gods, Part I").

Millicent Crisp is credited as "3rd Girl Warrior," and she is confirmed as appearing in this one scene, even though she is credited in "Lost Planet of the Gods, Part II." She may also be present as a bridesmaid, towards the back of the procession, at Serina and Apollo's marriage ceremony in Part II, but this is unconfirmed.

Pegasus

The uncredited Pegasus Warriors.
