Portal workaround[edit]

Shane: Portal:Battlestar Galactica (RDM) -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 17:39, 21 April 2006 (CDT)

Heck, it works. I mean... kinda funny, but it works. :-P --Shane (T - C - E) 17:53, 21 April 2006 (CDT)

Compliments[edit]

Shane, my compliments on the new main page. It's a very attractive new look, and despite any personal difficulties we may have had, I want you to know that I appreciate all the effort you've put into this project. --Peter Farago 02:09, 2 May 2006 (CDT)

I agree; it's good work. --CalculatinAvatar 13:13, 3 May 2006 (CDT)

Happy Birthday[edit]

Have a happy birthday. --CalculatinAvatar 13:13, 3 May 2006 (CDT)

Horray :D --Mercifull 13:16, 3 May 2006 (CDT)

Update[edit]

This message posted from Konqueror under Slax (with a nifty BSG background). Need to figure out how to modify the right script (probably placed in the /rootcopy/ directory) to get all the ndiswrapper stuff to automatically load so that I don't have to do that everytime. I'm also likely to add Firefox as a module, just for a more consistent experience. And so on. Any luck with finding out about your Netgear card (if that's you over on the Slax forums)? --Steelviper 17:06, 11 May 2006 (CDT)

Once I get SLAX running on my sister's old laptop, I am going to make it into a SLAX machine on the hard drive, not just LiveCD. --Shane (T - C - E) 22:02, 20 May 2006 (CDT)

Great Site[edit]

Many thanks Shane for your kind words. This looks like a great site! --Tauron

It is never appropriate to edit another user's home page, except to revert vandalism. Also, apologies for the hasty revert on Image:EisenFamily.jpg --Peter Farago 16:01, 23 May 2006 (CDT)

The image, first of all was tagged like that, was already relazsed to the public domain. The {{User Wikipedia Box}} I had tagged a while ago, your doing it again, looking at my previous edits and checking everything I do. I had posted something in this page about the template. --Shane (T - C - E) 20:37, 23 May 2006 (CDT)
I apologized for the hasty revert on the image, and I will do so again. As for the template, I should be more clear: I don't object to a delete tag, but using the article deletion tag gives the impression that every page the template is linked from is also marked for deletion - in this case, General Eisenhower's user page. Wikipedia has separate tags for template deletion, which would be more appropriate for this case. --Peter Farago 22:16, 23 May 2006 (CDT)

Thanks for the Silly Template[edit]

Greatly appreciate the new Silly Page template. Maybe it'll keep Merv from going ballistic every time one of us has a funny attack. And don't you like Adamo the Clown in the icon? :) OK. Maybe that's the kind of clown that gives people nightmares...--Spencerian 14:56, 25 May 2006 (CDT)
