Universal Studios are a series of amusement parks owned and or licensed by NBC Universal.

Back when Universal Studios was owned by MCA, the Battle of Galactica was commissioned in 1978 as a result of the success of the Original Series's debut, launching on June 9, 1979 at Universal Studios Hollywood just after the series cancellation.

During the years of its operation, Cylon Centurions and Colonial Warriors were amongst the characters seen as part of the "Streetmosphere," engaging guests of the park.[1]

Following the conclusion of the Re-imagined Series in 2009, Battlestar Galactica: Human vs. Cylon was commissioned at Universal Studios Singapore and opened to the public 18 March 2010.

This pair of dueling roller coasters were wrought with many issues, forcing various months-long shutdowns due to issues with the ride vehicles and not the tracks themselves. However, these issues were resolved and the ride continues in operation as of its writing.
