UIY 1138 is Galactica's Colonial shuttle dispatched to Arcta in order to destroy the Ravashol pulsar.
It is shot down by a patrol of Cylon Raiders and crashes near Deathpoint Plateau (TOS: "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero").
Notes
- The shuttle registry shifts between UIY 1138 and GAL 356 due to reuse of special effects from "Saga of a Star World."
- UIY 1138 is a nod to the film THX 1138, as it features a letter shift. It is an Easter egg placed by Apogee, a special-effects company created by John Dykstra with a team of Industrial Light and Magic employees that produced effects for both "Saga of a Star World" and "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero."
