The governing body for the Empire is the Quorum, featuring Archdukes and other aristocrats.

Caprica

Caprica is known as the 'Twelfth Colonial Empire.

The first target of Baltar's vengeance was Caprica, home to Archduke Adama who was instrumental in thwarting Baltar's power grab following the conclusion of the Ovion Wars.

Using the Cylonics, Baltar is able to lay waste to Caprica by turning the aethership Atlantia into a solium bomb (Steampunk Battlestar Galactica 1880 1).
