Flashback vehicles

Hey people, this is my first ever thing on a wiki, I hope I'm doing it right. Anyhow, I was wondering if there has ever been any attempt at identifying the military vehicles seen in the flashback scenes in this episode, when the Commander is walking with Starbuck. I can recognize the hummer (though I have no idea what the green slabs on top are), and at least one vehicle seems to be an IVF of some sort. I realize this is trivial, but since this (in all likelihood just rented vehicles in real life) may be the only glimps of some sort of Colonial ground force, I was just curious. Hi, CCL, and welcome. You did fine. Indeed, there have been many articles that focus on small arms, shipboard weapons and, of course, ships themselves, but, perhaps because of their generic nature, wiki members haven't made much about the handful of personal vehicles, military or otherwise, that's been seen in the series. We see Kara's Hummer-like vehicle in Valley of Darkness, and groups of abandoned cars of curious vintage in a parking garage in Downloaded. If you're up to it, take a look at thie pages that list weapons and form a new page on the vehicles seen. I recommend that you try to keep the descriptions as in-universe as you can, rather than saying, if possible, "Oh, that's an Edsel," since the Colonials aren't Earthlings per se. Have fun! --Spencerian 00:44, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Is there an appropriate place to note observations that might qualify as "production errors" or "curiosities" or some such? I ask because I noticed that in this episode, in the bookshelf that Helo and Boomer knock over to get to the bunker entrance, there are a lot of books that are clearly just scavenged from the production members' personal libraries and such—"The Final Diagnosis" by Arthur Hailey, for example. Would this go under "Notes"? Or is it germane at all?Btman 03:12, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
