Solonite is a highly-dangerous, high-yield non-nuclear explosive used by the Cylons and Colonials.
The Colonials use the explosive to destroy the Ravashol pulsar in the form of an hand-held solonite charge (TOS: "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero, Part II").
Cylon Raiders loaded with solonite attempt to kamikaze into Galactica, causing major damage to the last battlestar (TOS: "Fire in Space").
