'Snake' is the callsign of a pilot who flew as Jo-Jo's wingman, when Jo-Jo was killed by Scar. Snake survived the engagement and reported Jo-Jo's death to Galactica.

He was assigned at short notice to replace Captain Thrace who fealt she was in no condition to fly. (Scar)
