Commander Nash is mentioned as the first commanding officer of the battlestar Galactica during the Cylon War.

Nash is mentioned in Aaron Doral's press briefing during a press tour on Galactica and her scheduled decommissioning (Miniseries).

(Note: This character is not to be confused with Lieutenant Nash, a character who appeared in the Galactica 1980 episode Spaceball.)
