A rescue team sent by Galactica to Caprica had met with survivors in an unknown woods and had been pinned down by cylons Lay down your burdens, part 1 and retreated to a old stone fortess and then the bombardment had stopped. They have waited 18 hours but then discover that cylons had left pemanently and the Cavil had misterously appeared and clamed thet the cylons had left forever. They left back to Galactica and Caprica was completely abandoned.
