Raptor 909 on the hangar deck of the Galactica.

Raptor 909, also known as Wild Weasel, is a Raptor crewed by William "Husker" Adama and ECO Coker Fasjovik in the tenth year of the Cylon War. During his first tour of duty aboard the battlestar Galactica, Adama replaced deceased pilot Lieutenant Oliver "Fanboy" Bead, who had apparently died inside the ship itself (Blood and Chrome).

Shortly after his assignment to the Wild Weasel, Adama and co-pilot Fasjovik are ordered by Commander Silas Nash to escort Graystone Industries scientest Doctor Beka Kelly to the Scorpion Fleet Shipyards. En route, however, Kelly reveals new orders to rendezvous with the heavy cruiser Archeron in Sector 12, near Cylon-controlled space. Upon arrival at the designated coordinates, Adama, Fasjovik and Kelly discover the Archeron destroyed and are pursued by Cylon forces (Blood and Chrome).
