Raptor 478 is the Raptor craft piloted by Lt. Sharon Valerii ("Boomer") and ECO'd by Crashdown on at least two occasions. It flew during Lee Adama and Kara Thrace's CAP to intercept the Olympic Carrier (33) and surveyed damage to Galactica's water storage tanks (Water). Crashdown thought he should give it a name, "Kimiko", after "After a lovely little lady in a lovely little city in a lovely little colony that I used to know"; Boomer was less than thrilled.

When CPO Galen Tyrol refers to a Raptor which Valerii had piloted on 47 missions, he may be referring to this one (Flight of the Phoenix). She is also known to have piloted Raptor 312 (Mini-Series).
