Raptor 1

Raptor 1 was a Raptor from Battlestar Galactica. Its identification number may be an abbreviation, as in the case of Raptor 275, also referred to as Raptor 2.
It was one of three Raptors sent to survey the planet believed to be Kobol.
Incident[edit]
After entering Kobol's orbit, a phalanx of Cylon Raiders happened upon them suddenly. One raptor was destroyed in orbit via collision with a Raider, another left via FTL to Galactica, and Raptor 1 was damaged as a result of the fracas. Crashdown managed to crashland near an overgrown field, near ruins presumed to be from humanity pre-Colonization.
