Qualai is listed on Admiral Adama's service record as his place of birth, but is never spoken in dialogue.  A child Adama is seen living in Little Tauron in the Caprica finale, "Apotheosis" seemingly indicating he spent his early life in Joseph and Evelyn Adama's Caprica City apartment.  Adama himself later states in Blood and Chrome that he grew up in Caprica City, presenting a possible contradiction.

* The reference to William Adama's hometown being Qualai is derived from the Adama's dossier prop from "Hero." However, both and Blood and Chrome later cement Adama's birthplace as being in Caprica City.

Qualai is a small coastal town on Caprica and the birthplace of Graystone Industries scientist Philomon (CAP: "Know Thy Enemy"), and is erroneously noted as William Adama's birthplace in Billy Keikeya's dossier on battlestar Galactica's commander (TRS: "Hero").
