Pyramid as seen in the re-imagined series came about by a simple mistake made by producer Ron Moore when the [[Mini Series]] script was being penned. Moore mixed up the name Pyramid, the name of the card game in the original series with the name of a sport apparently played in the original series. As a result Pyramid became a sport in the new series while the card game was dubbed "Full Colors". | |||

A popular game within Colonial society, possibly team-based, which enjoyed television coverage across the the Twelve Colonies (Mini-Series), and also popular aboard Colonial warships (Litmus).
