Paye is a certified life-sciences practitioner attached to battlestar Galactica, presumably under Doctor Salik's leadership.

He repairs Cassiopeia's arm injuries, at the request of Starbuck (TOS: "Saga of a Star World").

He was mentioned by Commander Adama as having examined Apollo after his return (TOS: "War of the Gods, Part II")

Notes

  • Despite having a major credit in this episode, John Fink's character of Dr. Paye had more than 90% of his scenes cut as they pertained to Serina's "space cancer" storyline. (These scenes were filmed and are available on the DVD release for the series). With these scenes removed, his appearance was reduced to the brief scene where he is fixing up Cassiopeia's broken arm.
