The Okaati resettle the Kiernu homeworld following the Cylons' extermination of the Kiernu (Battlestar Galactica Classic #5).

The Okaati homeworld is located somewhere outside of the Empyrean Expanse and is home to the Okaati, a species who lost their homeworld due to an ecological. Sometime during the sixth-millennium, the Okaati fled their uninhabitable homeworld with their own rag-tag fleet and made entrance into the Expanse to resettle (Battlestar Galactica Classic #0 & #4).

New Homeworld

Assuming the mantle of leader of the Comitat circa 7348 (a millennia later), Commander Adama gives the surviving Okaati the Kiernu homeworld for them to settle upon before the Fleet's departure on its search for their own future homeworld, Earth (Battlestar Galactica Classic #5).
