Nicholas Yermakov is the author of two of Battlestar Galactica novelizations, The Living Legend and War of the Gods.

He was born on September 30, 1951 under the name Nicholas Valentin Yermakov, but began writing under the name Simon Hawke in 1984.

He wrote four novelizations for Predator 2, Friday the 13th, Friday the 13th Part 2, Friday the 13th Part III, and Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter.

Yermakov also wrote three Star Trek novels: The Patrian Transgression of The Original Series line and The Romulan Prize, and Blaze of Glory for the Star Trek: The Next Generation line.
