Skeptical of Caprican Soldiers of the One cell leader Clarice Willow's notion of apotheosis, Mother authorizes Monotheist Conclave leader Obal Ferras to dispose of Willow. Gaining support from other STO members - including Diego - Willow is able to turn the tables, orchestrating Ferras' assassination as Mother looks on. - According to the unproduced outlines for Caprica Season 2, Mother was not killed during Rand's coup, and would have made an uneasy alliance with Daniel Graystone to reclaim her old position.[1]
