Morpha is a painkilling medication used by the Colonial military, analogous to our opiate; Morphine.
The drug is included in all medkits. A morpha overdose is fatal; it is used to euthanize Socinus in order to spare him a slow, painful death (TRS: "Valley of Darkness").
A pouch containing several ampules of the drug are given to Felix Gaeta by Hoshi to aid in Gaeta's leg pain (TRS: "The Face of the Enemy", episode 1).
Notes[edit]
- Morpha's effects appear to be nearly identical to, and named after, the real-world drug morphine.
