Kerry Norton is a British actress and singer who portrayed medic Layne Ishay in four episodes of Season 2.
Norton's first BSG appearance as Ishay was in Scattered and two subsequent episodes where her character was memorable for having operated on Cmdr. William Adama's chest after he was shot at close range by the cylon Sharon Valerii. Her last appearance was in Downloaded later that season.
Norton is also the real-life wife of Jamie Bamber who plays Lee "Apollo" Adama. The two have a daughter, Isla Elizabeth Angela Griffith, born in 2003, and two twin daughters, Darcy and Ava, born in 2004. [1]
