Jennifer Halley (born in 1971 in Vancouver, British Columbia) has three siblings; one younger sister and two younger half-brothers. Halley attended the Lord Byng Secondary School in Vancouver and modelled internationally when she was a teenager.

Halley's most recent role is in the Re-imagined Series as Diana Seelix, a nugget and former deckhand on Galactica. Her presence in the pilot (uncredited) as an extra suggests she played the same role, but there is room for speculation given that Playa Palacios was originally Playa Kohn (so some elements undergo early drafts, like Ellen Tigh).

Outside of Battlestar Galactica, her movie and television credits include Limp, Lunch with Charles, Stargate SG-1, The Chris Isaak Show, and Tru Calling.
