Jen Halley was born in 1971. She was raised in Vancouver, British Columbia and has three siblings; one younger sister and two younger half-brothers. Halley attended the Lord Byng Secondary School in Vancouver and modelled internationally when she was a teenager.

Jen Halley's most recent role is in the Re-imagined Battlestar Galactica as Diana Seelix, a nugget and former deckhand on Galactica.

Outside of of Battlestar Galactica her movie and television credits include Limp, Lunch with Charles, Stargate SG-1, The Chris Isaak Show, and Tru Calling.
