Graystones

The Graystones, according to their basic description in the official statement on the proposed Re-imagined Series spin-off drama, Caprica, are a family that run a large corporation that develop the Cylons, robots that would be used for the hard labor and hazardous work deemed unworthy of the people of the Twelve Colonies of Kobol, at the eve of an unexpected revolt. The series would be set some 50 years prior to the Fall of the Twelve Colonies.

Caprica, as of March 2007, remains in "development hell".
