This article has a separate continuity.
This article is in the Richard Hatch continuation separate continuity, which is related to the Original Series. Be sure that your contributions to this article reflect the characters and events specific to this continuity only.

Sovereign Lord[1] Gar'Tokk is the leader of the Borellian Nomen aboard the prison barge Icarus in 7360[2].

Imprisoned for reasons unspecified along with the only remaining Nomen—totaling 13 persons—Gar'Tokk is described as having a long beard, a mane of dark hair, massive shoulders, and a typical protruding brow of the Nomen, as well as a growing hatred of his predicament[2]. He relished in killing with his bare hands[3].

In the short time following Adama's death, the disembodied form of Count Iblis visits Gar'Tokk, offering freedom to both him and his Nomen in exchange for a debt[4]. He readily agrees, and after being freed[5] Gar'Tokk and his Nomen slaughter the ship's crew and wardens[1]. Following this, they extricate Icarus from the Fleet, and free the human prisoners aboard in order to ensure chaos, leaving Gar'Tokk in command of the ship in its entirety[6].

After Lucifer begins his assault on the Fleet, Gar'Tokk repels the interception attempt by two Colonial Vipers by ordering their destruction by Icarus' defensive lasers[7]. As the battle wages on, the disembodied Iblis visits Gar'Tokk, ordering him to repay his debt by destroying the Forge ship Hephaestus[8]. Upon discovering the Cylons were striking, Gar'Tokk reconsiders his aid to Iblis for he finds the Cylons to be the most disgusting and inferior of races[9]. Iblis declares that Gar'Tokk has made a "very dangerous enemy" and that he shall regret it in due time[9].

With Lucifer's and Iblis' attempts thwarted, Gar'Tokk and his Nomen surrender Icarus to the Quorum of Twelve and recapture the other human prisoners they had freed. These acts by Gar'Tokk's clan spur discussions amongst the Quorum as to how to handle the Nomen in the future, perhaps even allowing them to leave the Fleet for their own homeworld[10] (RH: Armageddon).
