Location of a battle between Cylon forces and the Colonial Battlestars Galactica and Pegasus. The attack by the Colonial forces is planned and executed by Commander Cain of the Pegasus after he rendezvoused with the rag-tag fleet, having survived the Battle of Molecay, where his ship had been presumed destroyed.
During the Battle of Gamoray, two Cylon basestars are destroyed - but the Pegasus herself is lost.
Notes
Fans of the original series prefer to believe that the Pegasus survived the encounter at Gamoray, and would have returned to the series at some point in the future, had it been successfully renewed.
