Colonial troop transports^[1] are ships used during the first Cylon War to transport military personnel and equipment to various battlegrounds and Colonial holdings, including Sagittaron.

The general asthetic of these ships is strikingly similar to the Colonial Heavy 798 type ship and apparently has the ability to hover in a fixed position inside a planetary atmosphere (Battlestar Galactica: Zarek 1).
