Beta company is a group from battlestar Galactica sent out to conduct a Fleet-wide supply and damage survey.
Apparently lead by Captain Apollo, one Beta company's tasks is to investigate solium leaks on the freighter Gemini after the exouds from the Twelve Colonies (Saga of a Star World).
