Caprica Casting Underway

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the roles of Joseph Adama and Amanda Graystone have been cast to genre actors Esai Morales of Jericho[1] and Paula Malcomson of Deadwood[2].

Caprica two-hour pilot green-lit

After being in development hell for nearly two years, Caprica has been green-lit and will begin production in the spring. In addition, a new series of webisodes and a "social game" will be released around mid-April.[3]
