The image tagging policy deals with the proper identification, categorization and tagging of photos used in the wiki. For the policy on proper image use on this wiki, click here.
Rationale
In order to properly identify images, as well as to offer the proper credit, the images need to be tagged. This page covers how to tag a photo.
Tags
Fair use
Since Battlestar Wiki doesn't actually own the rights to Battlestar Galactica, these images are used under the fair use clause of United States copyright law. Thus all these tags reflect this.

- {{BW image}} - Used exclusively for Battlestar Wiki images. These are images released under the same license as Battlestar Wiki's articles. Images are placed under Category:Battlestar Wiki images.
