Lieutenant "Karma" Baker is the callsign and last name of a Raptor pilot aboard battlestar Galactica.

Crashdown thinks that Karma was bad luck. He is assigned to fill in for Boomer after her gunshot injury and pilots Raptor 1 as part of a survey expedition to Kobol. Karma's Raptor is shot down by Cylon forces that orbit the planet, he being killed while flying, forcing Crashdown to attempt a crash landing (Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part I).

Karma's "combover" hairstyle indicates that he might be either Unidentified Uninjured Pilot #5 or Unidentified Uninjured Pilot #7.

Notes

• In a deleted scene from "Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part I", Chief Tyrol expresses apprehension before embarking on the recon mission to Kobol, saying he hates flying with Karma because he's "bad luck." As it turns out, Tyrol's fears were well founded.
• His last name and rank come from the nameplate on the side of the crashed Raptor 1. The first name is five letters in length, but is obscured by superficial damage done by the crash.
