The anti-gravity ship was a prototype Colonial spacecraft, designed and built under the guidance of Dr. Zee, incorporating technological innovations far more advanced than either Cylon technology or conventional Colonial technology. Adama believed the vessel to be so powerful that, in sufficient numbers, a force of these vessels could actually enable the humans to retake the Twelve Colonies, but there were no further resources or raw materials to enable the Fleet to construct anymore. It was presumed that, should the Galactican humans successfully integrate themselves into Earth society, abundant raw materials could be eventually appropriated to build further such ships of this type.
