Biography[edit]

As a member of the Galactica's command staff, Petty Officer Dualla manages the main communications board in CIC, and works closely with Adama, Tigh, and Gaeta in operating and "fighting" the Galactica. Her responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring fleet-wide communications, including all of the Galactica's incoming and out-going communications (Secrets and Lies)
  • Ensuring shipboard communications are properly logged (Secrets and Lies)
  • Relaying communcations to all of the Galactica's Vipers and Raptors during off-ship missions
  • Managing CIC operations.

At the time of the Cylon attack she monitored fleet-wide communciations and was one of the first to notice the unuslly-high levels of shipboard malfunctions and failures aboard other battlestars (Mini-Series).

Since the Cylon attack, she has been responsible for co-ordinating fleet activities (e.g. FTL jumps). This responsibility lead her to identity that the Olympic Carrier failed to jump with the fleet during the period of the initial Cylon pursuit (33).

Due to his admiration of Dualla, presidential aide Billy Keikeya "volunteered" her to join an off-ship mission to the Astral Queen (Bastille Day). Lead by Captain Lee Adama, this misson was to try and enlist the help of prisioners being carried aboard the Queen in resupplying the Galactica with water following an act of sabotage (Water). During the mission, the team were taken hostage by prisoners during a goal break lead by fellow Sagittaron and political agitator Tom Zarek.

Freed without personal harm during this siuation, Dualla has gone on to return Billy Keikeya's affections, and they have been known to date during off-duty periods (Secrets and Lies).
