Notes
- Issue 7 was the final issue of Battlestar Galactica: The Official Magazine, with the magazine ending abruptly after only seven numbered issues plus the Special/Miniseries issue.
- The issue made only a brief announcement about being the final edition, despite featuring an article by Richard Hatch that was promoted as "the first of his exclusive articles for The Official Magazine," suggesting additional issues had been planned.
- The magazine's timing coincided precisely with the Season 3 premiere on October 6, 2006, positioning it to cover the highly anticipated return following the cliffhanger ending of Season 2.
- Dean Stockwell's character Brother Cavil had been revealed as a Cylon in the Season 2 finale "Lay Down Your Burdens, Part II" (March 10, 2006), making his interview particularly timely as the character's role expanded significantly in Season 3.
- Jane Espenson joined the Battlestar Galactica writing staff during Season 3, eventually becoming Co-Executive Producer for Season 4 and later writing Battlestar Galactica: The Plan.
- The Diamond Select Minimates line featured in the issue launched in 2006-2007 with multiple series of character two-packs, continuing through 2010 and becoming popular collectibles among fans.
- The magazine's cancellation reason was never officially provided by Titan Magazines.
