The ''Baah Pakal'' is a ship in [[The Fleet (RDM)|The Fleet]]. The ''Baah Pakal'' once held a pair of outdated [[DDG-62]] engines on her flight deck that were donated to the [[Blackbird]] prototype. ([[Flight of the Phoenix]])

The name Ba'ha Pakal is Mayan in origin. B'a means "head" or "first" in Mayan. Pakal means "shield". So taken together as B'a Pakal, it would be Mayan for "First Shield". Also note Pakal was the name of the greatest ruler of the Mayan city Palenqué in Chiapas, Mexico. This adds further references to Earth based cultures, adding to the mystery of the time-period that BSG is taking place in. Earth past or Earth future.

'''Cami''' is a young passenger, around maybe 4 to 6, onboard the [[Sublight Propulsion|sublight civilian spacecraft]] called the [[Botanical Cruiser]]. Cami is travelling with her grandparents, but her grandmother suffers health problems at the time of the [[Cylon Attack]]. The captain of the Botanical Cruiser and his staff look after the child in her grandmother's stead.

Cami talks to new President [[Laura Roslin]] about reuniting with her parents on Caprica, having chicken pot pie, and other things she looked forward to on her return home, innocently oblivious to the Cylon hostilities and the danger she was now in.

The young girl is subsequently killed when a [[Cylon]] task force destroys her ship, while the [[FTL]]-capable ships jumped to [[Ragnar Anchorage]] ([[Mini-Series]]).
