Yenguyen:

YeNguyen is obessesed with the new Battlestar Galactica and with good reason! Aside from the space porn we get every now and then, I love that it's a character-driven drama that knows how to keep a story and its players interesting. Urr, aside from a lot of Season 3, but that was the network meddling.

Battlestar was pretty much a gateway show for me, increasing my interest in well-written drama on the big and small screen. I've found a huge interest in all things movie and TV and I've put energy into acting, writing and directing, all thanks to BSG's influence. Whee!

And even with my ever-growing list of favorite movies and TV shows, I've never found anything I like better than Galactica.

There is a problem with "Go Between, Inc.". Understandably they don't keep the data forever. Searching for "battlestar" now only yields results for "[[Six of One]]". Now someone entered that Athena called Anders "C-Buck" on his article. That can only happen during their scene on the hangar deck, but I don't hear anything like that. She says. "Hey rook. ==Thrace's claims discussion==

Alpha Centauri's triple star system contains 1 star, Proxima Centauri, which is a 'flare star', capable of changing its luminosity in seconds (more akin to the flashing behaviour described by Starbuck). Another interesting factor is that the name of the constellation, Centaurus, refers to the half-man, half-horse mythological figure, which is also the figure represented by Saggitarus (the statue on the tomb of Athena on which the Arrow of Apollo was placed to reveal the path to Earth).
Although the triple stars of Alpha Centauri cannot be seen from Earth neither it is possible to see the rings of the outer solar system's planets. What seems more likely is that Starbuck saw both the rings and the triple star on her way back to the Ionian Nebula.

Based on Valerii's extreme discomfort in having to cut herself to insert the data line to be connected this way, it could be presumed that this is not a typical practice for Humano-Cylons.

Brig is a US military term with one of two uses:

# A jail or prison on board a U.S. Navy or Coast Guard vessel.
# A jail or guardhouse, especially on the premises of a U.S. military installation.

The [[Galactica|Galactica]] seems to have two brigs. One with at least two small cells with bunks. There is also another brig with one larger cell with no commodities for high-security prisoners. In the episodes in which the brigs has made an appearance, there is usually always a [[Marine|Marine guard]] standing watch inside the room. In the high-sec brig, there are usually around four.

After Galactica-Boomer was revealed as a Cylon, Colonel Tigh ordered a third custom-made super-reinforced brig to be constructed. It was built for the specific purpose of containing captured [[Humano-Cylon]]s, who possess far greater than human strength, for an extended period ([[Resistance]]). The new brig was constructed with maximum security in mind; instead of having simple bars, it's walls consist of many metal grid screens welded tightly together, and reinforced by plexiglass (a telephone is used to communicate between one the inside and outside of the cell). After being brought to the ''Galactica'', Caparica-Boomer was detained within the new Cylon-brig cell, presumably for an indefinate period. [[Number Six]] claims that Sharon's hybrid daughter will be born in this cell ([[Home, Part II]]).

* After jumping successfully to the [[Fleet]]'s location, the ''Galactica'''s power systems shut down.
* After landing on ''Galactica'', [[Lee Adama]], [[Kat]], [[Hot Dog]], and [[Flyboy]] are walking through the corridors with flashlights. Flyboy stumbles into a Cylon Centurion -- the Cylon kills him and the rest attempt to flee.
* As Hot Dog and Kat flee up the stair way, Lee attempts to kill the Cylon. A small group of marines come from behind the Cylon, using an explosive round that is able to take it out. Unfortunately, it was their last one, they'll have to get more as it is the only round that works against the centurions.
* Lee's group goes to the storage locker on deck 12. They find [[Jammer]] (a member of [[Tyrol]]'s repair crew) and, unfortunately, only six explosive rounds.
* Gaeta states that the Cylon virus has infected some of the ship's isolated computers when they were networked; he has teams cleaning them out.
* Tigh gets reports that some of the Cylons have been taken out by teams throught the ship. He suspects that the Cylons are heading towards two sections of the ship -- one of which is aft damage control -- in order to vent the ship. (After the ship is vented and the crew terminated, Tigh states that the Cylons would turn Galactica's guns on the Fleet.)
* Lee gets into contact with [[CIC]] via a portable phone. Tigh orders him to go to the aft damqage control section to stop the Cylons from overriding the safeguards that prevent the ship from being vented.
* Lee, Jammer, Kat, and two marines station themselves near the aft damage control console. As they ready the defense against the advancing Cylons, Roslin, Billy, Dee and Corporal [[Venner]] hide in a passageway to avoid being discovered. The Cylons run down a hallway towards aft damage control, but are distracted when Billy accidentally fires off a round while running away. This gives Lee enough time to destroy the Cylon attackers.
*Having successfully destroyed the Cylons, Doctor [[Cottle]] is requested to be brought to the Galactica. In the sickbay, Roslin assures Apollo that Adama will be fine, and she is taken back to the brig. Tigh tells Lee that he is still shocked that he would side with the President instead of his own father, and that he is unfit to wear a [[Colonial]] uniform. Lee tells Tigh that when Adama wakes up, he will decide what to do with both of them.

Blind jumps are usually done in the most dire of combat circumstances when a few seconds could mean preservation or destruction.
